I got my BTB and immediately noticed how well packed the shipment was and how gorgeous the bass was. It’s got some Bartolinis and a 3-band eq, plus a toggle switch for midrange response. Pretty cool. Well, I noticed a lot of hiss and noise. Drives make it worse. The most minimal noise I was able to dial in required the 3-band eq knobs to be turned to noon (neutral position), making the 3-band eq kinda worthless in my case. The build is solid. Plays well enough and sounds pretty good minus the noise. I’ve since bought another Ibanez 6 string bass with Nordstrom pickups and don’t experience this issue at all on that model. Hope this review helps.
