A lot lighter than I would have imagined, finish is spectacular, neck will need a little adjustment; but it originated in Mississippi so a lot more humidity there. I'm in dry Vegas and it's October. Great feel thru all positions of the neck. Very accurate sounds for a jazz pickup set., but you could dial in anything with a Sans Amp RBI

I have an older BTB, and Ibanez really upped the game with this latest lineup. The versatility of the sound and the playability of the instrument allows me to effortlessly move from one sound to another. Rock, funk, latin, jazz.... I'm currently recording with a few different drummers from bands such as Journey, The Tubes, Peter Gabriel, Todd Rundgren...and they both love the sound of the bass.
