This is an excellent guitar. Right out of the box after tuning it played excellent. The tone was perfect. I will put this guitar up against any Gibson 335. The difference is minor. The controls are solid and the body construction is almost perfect. The only thing that I have problems with is that Ibanez never places the strings over the pickup pole pieces. There is always a mis-alignment. It's like the pickups are not made for the guitar. I have 4 Ibanez guitars and they all have the same problem. Otherwise great guitar.
