"Hughes and Kettner have done it again!!!"
Brilliant amp which is so easy to use and can produce an excellent sound in every guitar i have to put through it. Also, if you take it on the road you won't have to worry about alot of effects pedals because this amp can replace most of them instantly. It is a solid built amp which i can see lasting me for a very long time. If and when it finally goes, i can see me going back to Hughes and Kettner as they can produce outstanding sounding amps that are very well built and very affordable
Sound
Superb amp with a great array of sounds. The 4 channels are very versatile from a very clear clean channel to the warp channel for a very loud, thick distortion. Also the built in effects are excellent and can add that extra depth to your sound. For example, add some chorus to the clean channel to thicken it out and some delay for the lead channel for soloing.
Features
In this amp there is a good use of features such as the headphone port for playing in the house if you're being told to turn down or the line out to play along with CDs. The footswitch is an added bonus making stage performance easier.
Ease of Use
Straight out of the box and plug in. And the auto store for the effects makes things very easy incase someone accidently touches your amp.
Quality
Excellent quality for the money. I couldnt find anything to complain about in the sound from this amp.
Value
Excellent value for money.
The Wow Factor
After playing this amp i just had to hand over my money. I went into the store for some simple guitar maintenance and left knowing that as soon as the can was delivered, i would own the Matrix 100 stack

"Porsche/Hughes and Kettner. There is no substitute"
I have traveled as far as 120 miles to play every amp in this class and it is by far the best. For you Marshall fans, no distortion at all.The Crate had a lot of feedback, the Randall, I was'nt impressed with its sound and the Vox was just to much modeling but very loud. So buy this amp and throw away your pedals, they won't be needed.
Sound
I play anything, guitar. The clean channel I use for some country stuff, and acoustic rock, the crunch, I use for AC/DC and older rock, the lead I use for soloing and the warp I use for modern metal, with the proper gain you can acheive any sound you want without any pedals.
Features
I like this amp because if I want to play at home with headphones I can while my wife watches tv. I have'nt yet taken to show my friend and play with his band though, but it seams loud. It's also great that you can play with a CD, and I like the foot switch.
Ease of Use
It is very easy to set up to get your sound and switch between them
Quality
This thing is made in Germany, like a Porsche, it is flawless and seems like it will last forever, and always look great.
Value
this may be the most expensive in it's class but with all it offers it is still a great value.
Manufacturer Support
have'nt needed any support.
The Wow Factor
Yes, it may be new, but I think I will always be driven every day to pick up my guitar and plug in because of this amp.

"GREAT"
Over all, this is a great amp and I plan to use it until it dies.. If it ever does. And when that happens, I will definately come back to Hughes and Kettner for another one of their great amps.
Sound
This thing has the best sound I've heard out of an amp yet. I have an Epiphone G-300 with crappy stock pickups, but this thing makes it sound amazing. It gives me the perfect crunch I need. GREAT SOUND
Features
The channels are great. Each one sounds very different... The clean is almost crystal clear whereas the warp is good for metal and other music with high distortion. The lead is perfect for shredding. The crunch is the one that I use the least though. It has pretty light distortion. It still sounds great, like all of the others. The effects are incredible. More than what I would have asked for. The footswitch is a great accessory, but I don't like how you can't change the channels from the buttons on the head when the footswitch is plugged in. The break on the cab doesn't work well, it fell off soon after I got it, but over all a great amp.
Ease of Use
This amp is very easy to get the perfect sounds that I need for any type of music I'm playing.
Quality
This amp has great construction and I will trust it for years to come.
Value
Great for the price
Manufacturer Support
I have never had any problems that would require customer service.
The Wow Factor
Looks great with the sparkle in the cab, and the blue lights on the head.
