"Hartke Tuners Rock!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

Years and years. Hartke makes good dependable products. I've had problems with tuners that use 9 volt batteries. When I go to change them , the 9 volt is so hard to disconnect that I short-out the lead wires. The Hartke tuner uses a AAA battery system. It makes it much easier and quicker. (and no more "short-outs")
Sound

Features
It has a clever flip out stand so you can stand the tuner in an upright position. Much easier to for us old-timers to read.
Ease of Use
Very simple directions. Very easy to use and it's versatile. One button can put into a # or flat tuning.
Quality
Compact design and durability makes this tuner perfect for the road.
Value
Way better than the other tuners with the same features. Some tuners I have used won't even tune to the right note. This one tunes to the perfect pitch whatever that might be.
Manufacturer Support
I also own the Hartke acoustic guitar amp and had a few question about it. They responded via e-mail promtly. I love the Hartke amp by the way.
The Wow Factor
Sleek rounded edges , a compact design and ease of use makes this tuner a real winner for me.

"A quality piece of equipment at a better than reasonable price!"

Honestly, I can't imagine needing or wanting another tuner. I suppose if someone gave me one of those expensive Peterson strobe tuners as a gift, I would be happy with it but my Hartke suits me just fine. It works flawlessly, is compact, easy to use, looks great, and is a steal for less than $18.00. It's just so nice when you come across a quality piece of equipment at a better than reasonable price. Give the Hartke a try. You won't be disappointed.
Sound
NA
Features
It does what it was designed to do - nothing fancy but the features are more than enough for quick and effective tuning. It has four tuning modes: chromatic, guitar, bass, and violin. The pull out stand is a great little feature.
Ease of Use
It is very easy and intuitive to use. For me, I simply press the power button and tune my guitar. It doesn't get any easier than that. It also comes with a thorough set of instructions.
Quality
It's made of good quality plastic, very solid, i.e., it doesn't feel cheap like other plastic tuners. The display is clear and easy to read, and the function buttons are easy to manipulate as well.
Value
At less than $18.00, the value of the Hartke Tuner is "the best" given the quality.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't had the need.
The Wow Factor
I really like the simple, no-nonsense looks of the Hartke Tuner. I would be proud to carry this around in my pocket - you know, to impress the ladies! Bon Chica Waa Waa...

Hartke HT12 Tuner Customer Review

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I will only start looking for a new product if this one breaks and would not hesitate to purchase another one (assuming the breakage was my fault)
Sound
It tunes accurately without a lot of over sensitive needle jump that one finds on similar products.
Features
It came with batteries, so just a case of pop them in and tune away. It is chromatic as well as bass, guitar and violen tunner, so it pretty much covers the standard stringed instrument range.
Quality
plastic outer case, but feels very solid, recon one could drop it, pick it up and dust it of and keep going
Value
In terms of what is offered in the price, it is great value for money, I would reccommend it to someone looking to pick up a good quality tunner
Manufacturer Support
I have as of yet had no reason to deal with Hartke, their product works great
The Wow Factor
simple layout, easy to understand, nice easy to read display as well as LED indicator lights and of course it comes in black which as far as electronic equipment is concerned with me is a must.
