These cabinets have AWSOME sound... just what I was looking for to round out the sound I like... old school.. no effects just plug and play... this thing alone cuts through the mix no problem... waited till I used it at a bunch of practices and 3 gigs before writing this review. Running a Peavey mini max 500 watt head at first then switched last gig to a Ampeg SVT-7pro... this cabinet performs perfectly... from a passive bass to a active bass the tone quaility is outstanding...!!!! the only cons r still in the workmanship of the manufacturing process... had to take the grill off and one speaker out...had loose pieces of wood rattling around inside the cabinet and the casters could be a little better... don’t put ur amp head on top of it and roll it... any pebbles and ur head will take a tumble...

Between the size/weight and sound quality this Is a amazing sounding cabinet, I gigged with it a few times and it was easy just to throw in it the camry without struggle, did I mention this thing is very loud and it doesn't get muddy or distort at loud volumes, it maintains clarity even at loud volumes (hartke ha5500) now this cab may be perfect for some but for me playing gospel music and loving that massive low end.... This cab doesn't deliver that without the 15 inch cab to match it, yes it has solid bass but not earth shaking like I love, that's the only downfall for me which indeed caused me to return it and get a Carvin neo 410 but all in all I loved this cab, just didn't have that low end I need

I first bought this cab with the Hartke LH1000 head, adding the 115 hd cabinet a few months ago. I am running the amp in "twin" mode, using the balance control for the cabs. The HD15 has quite a bit more bottom, so much so, that I will be ordering another soon. That being said, the 4-10 cab has a good mid punch, but does lack in that "rattle ur bones" bottom end. I grew up playing 15's and also the SVT with 4-10 hlf, as well as the fridge cabinets so my taste is towards big bottom.
