Couldn’t be happier. Made by Heritage in the iconic old Gibson factory. Nitro. Set neck. All mahogany. Etc… It feels “old”.Best out of the box setup I’ve probably ever experienced. Straight neck. Zero buzz. Intonation was spot on. Excellent fretwork.The pickups are spectacular. Are they true gold foils? I can’t say. (I’ve read they’re Alnico III magnets, as opposed to the rubber ceramics that old gold foils utilized.)These pickups come across as a really great PAF style, so the gold foil is perhaps just an aesthetic. They react to the use of your volume/tone controls beautifully. From jazzy cleans to high gain, they excel at everything I’ve thrown at it.Combine everything with a nice Mono gig bag, and you have the best bang for the buck out there, in my opinion.
