I really love the Ampero ll Stage. It has all of the ins and outs you could ever need and is really easy to operate using just the screen though it does have a great app and desktop software. I went from a Line 6 GX-100 which was great but lacked the modeling I needed to get the steel guitar sound I wanted. I went from there to a Tonex One which sounded great with the models but the software was clunky, the effects were just average and the computer software felt clunky. I bought the Tonex One plus and the app was good and decided to get the larger Tonex pedal and though they all sounded great it was just all kind of clunky to me and even with the new firmware update the effects weren't great. I got a chance to pick up the Ampero ll Stage at a great price and cloned the steel presets from my Tonex and it worked perfectly and sounded just as good as the Tonex model.The Tonex model plays NAM files without conversion and is integrated with Tone3000. I have been able to add and use all the effects I need even using the NAM files.The effects in the Ampero are the best I've used in a multi effect pedal and there are a bunch of varieties. I was really impressed with the compression, NG and reverb!Long time customer with zZounds and they are the best!!
