I use the 5' version between a headphone amp and NAD HP50 headphones. The cable sounds better than the one sold with the 'phones and since the cable has a 1/4" TRS (stereo) plug, I eliminated the adapter. More clarity, truer bass, all of the usual suspects. Way recommended! I had to trim part of the 1/8" end so it would fit on my particular headphones, but I'm very happy.
