These units are far superior to their own AS-900 in terms of sound quality. The frequency response is satisfactory for most people. They do not go low enough for my bass guitar. We have our guitar, and keyboard on these currently and for the price point they are great. The frequencies available quickly are nice too. When you get rid of all your stage monitors you can't afford to have anyone's in ears down.

We have been using the AS-950's for over a year now, and they are rock solid. Great sound and very rugged, with modest looks, the AS-950 simply does it's job extremely well. So good, in fact, if one ever goes out, I'll replace it with another.
