They sound great, of course I changed the factory heads for remo pinstrips. But, the tones are pitch perfect. Great mid range set for the step above novice. The cymbals that were included are great i figured they would be junk like the heads, not at all. The 13in hats are something to be desired, but if you gave 14in what would i have to replace and purchase soon. lol. Lets see how they weather in time another review in a year or so and let you all know how they last.
