I am a beginner, and I own a couple of guitars, acoustic and electric. After reading online reviews of this Gretsch I decided to go for it. Recently arrived, the first thing I did was put some light gauge strings on it. I plugged it in, tuned it up, and played that old standard, The Star Spangled Banner. I cannot say enough how much I love the tonal quality of those humbuckers thru my little Boss amp. Just awesome. I'll probably upgrade the tuners one day, but for now I'm just going to play.

Well right out of the box, this is a really nice guitar from Gretsch and zZounds! I am amazed at the set-up, playability, and finish on this Streaminer Club. I do own a 5210-P90 also purchased from AMS and zZounds which is also an amazing axe but I needed something just slightly lighter and with a single humbucker and this guitar fit the bill perfectly.I can thank these guys at AMS and zZounds enough for the customer and fast shipping they provide with every purchase and if I'd known how awesome this Gretsch was, I would have ordered a much better gig bag for it...I'll be back for that!
