Gretsch has it's own voice. Since receiving it, I don't put down. I ordered the Rivera Blue which is a limited edition. The fit and finish is outstanding. The setup is excellent right out of the box, and playability is impeccable. zZounds shipping was fast and flawless. You can't go wrong with a Streamliner from zZounds.
Sound
The Streamliner Jr. is has a well-rounded sound, with immediate response. The sustain is extremely long. The guitar is setup is excellent, with a low action. It's easy to fret and the attack is immediate. It almost plays itself. Beginners and experienced players would love this guitar.
Features
The maple body usually sounds very bright. But, Gretsch combines this with a spruce center block. As a luthier, I believe it's this combination that allows the unique voice of this guitar. It's not overly bright, allowing the mids and bass to shine.
Ease of Use
I only play the guitar "clean" on the amp. I'm not an electric guitar player. The semi-hollow body build is the bridge between acoustic and electric, with the benefits apparent from the combination. The guitar is well-suited to all genres: jazz, country, rock, even classical.
Quality
I'm a luthier that makes custom acoustic guitars. I also repair stringed instruments and restore historical guitars. I've had every major brand on my bench. I've chosen to buy a couple of guitars. Gretsch has been on my "bucket list". You DO NOT have to pay thousands for quality. The fit and finish on the Streamliners is beyond reproach.
Value
The Steamliner is very well priced. The quality of the guitar build, plus the voice, would cost much more with other name brands. Gretsch seems to keep tight quality control.
Manufacturer Support
I've never dealt directly with Gretsch
The Wow Factor
The guitar is beautiful to look at, as well as listen to.

This bad boy is very versatile , it has a splitter knob wich is very good because it isolates and split pick ups so you can get various tones , i recorded a funk track as and experiment i used this guitar usin both pick ups and splitted in haf to get a similar strat tone and the uafx dream 65 pedal and my friends really believed that i was using a strat , also you can get warm tones and rich crispy high tones , another good thing is its size, because it is smaller than the other semihollow guitars and form me it"s very comfortable , so i recomend to get this if you are looking for a new experience with a classic look
