...to review this guitar. Pretty good streak going here... It's pretty.It growls like an electric version of my Guild BT-258E acoustic baritone, but it also cleans up beautifully.The action is typical Gretsch spot-on straight outta the box (I will obviously be keeping an eye on it as it adjusts to its new environment).Gretsch humbuckers are the buckingest buckers this side of Buckeropolis. They do all the loud down & dirty stuff in a way which gets me mildly "excited" (yeah ok way TMI). They also dial in some legitimate usable jazz toneage. Baritone jazz guitar

...TO REVIEW THIS GUITAR!Even though it hasn't arrived yet (due tomorrow).I already know in advance it will be a keeper working guitar, based on the other Gretsches I have. I will follow up on this review after I have stayed up playing it for 72 hours straight.Gretsch has some truly excellent products. I only wish this had come in the cool Wychwood green available on the standard CVT. Oh well, color never makes a guitar sound or play better, it just gives me a zone-out focal stare point when I'm taking a break between rehearsals.("it's soooooo pretty!")(Yes, zZounds, this review is premature.
