Picks are an awesome and inexpensive way to change your tone and even your playing style. These are interesting picks made of the same material Graph Tech makes nuts, saddles and bridge pins out of. They are supposed to be a more consistent bone alternative but they are still essentially plastic. I have never had a problem with any of my guitars that have TUSQ, thought I still prefer real bone.This variety pack is a great way to try all the kinds of picks Graph Tech offers. They offer 351, Jazz and Triangle shapes in three tone profiles: warm (yellow), bright (white) and deep (black). I thought I would like the warm picks but my personal experience is that both the warm and bright picks don’t sound that different and I didn’t prefer either. However, I think the deep tone picks are the hidden gem. They offer a loud and harmonically rich tone that rings out clear as a bell. I found it overwhelming on acoustic but love it on electric and now the 351 1.00mm picks are part of my rotation.
