The photos don't do this set justice, when I got these and opened the box they were stunning! Not only are these monitors a pleasure to look at but the sound quality is first rate. Only issue is that these monitors while bearing the Gibson name, are made in China. Always thought that anything marked Gibson would be American made. I guarantee if these had been made here they would be at least $2000 each. Pick up a set of these while they are $149 each, or you'll be kicking yourself for the rest of your life...

I bought these to use as desktop monitors due to my obsession with Gibson Guitars. At first I was a little leery about spending this much for "speakers". I had to buy a few cables to attach them to my computer but it was not hard (got them on Amazon). Now a few weeks later---WOW! These things are awesome. I get dozens of compliments on them every week and they sound amazing. The best I can describe is that it makes sitting at my desk sound like I am in my car (factory Bose sound system in my car). It is the most amazing sound I can imagine. I am thrilled I bought these These are truely $1200 speakers as were previously listed. they are SUBSTANTIAL and seem incredibly well built so I am thinking they might last a while especially since I am playing Youtube videos at level 1.
