I've been running my home studio with the Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 and more recently the Clarett +2 Pre, but adding the GA MK4 into the chain made a world of difference and added another dimension to my recordings. That in itself says a lot because Focusrite has some pretty darn good sounding pres to start with. The GA Pre is punchy and warm and with 80db of gain even my ribbon mics sound better than before. If you're looking to enhance your sound or just add a different flavor to your recordings I highly recommend this pre.
