Needed some inexpensive powered speakers that I could put in my trunk. Also light enough to save my back. These sound great and have really nice connection options. I play in an acoustic duo and we use a little peavey 6 ch mixer and an ultrasound cp100 for the monitor. With an array of floor efx, harmonizers etc. just got them and ran them hard for hours at 50% and they sound great with no heat on sinks. Nice to have a sub 100 lb system in 3 pieces that will do most settings. They sound even better off the ground a few feet. I had to daisy chain them with the mix out of one to the other as I had a ground buzz running them unbalanced stereo. No xlr outs on the mixer so used mon and efx sends for the setup. Nice build quality, so far quite satisfied.
