I haven't been around many speakers in the last 20 years. I tried to get it to work as soon as I got it until I finally gave up and called and griped big-time and they were gonna send me a new one. So the next day I started messing around with the speaker again. And I figured it out. I was turning the knobs for volume the wrong way.. It's really a very good kickass Bluetooth jamming speaker and portable pa system when you need it. I've never had a Bluetooth speaker that is this good. The sound from it is like the big heavy speakers we used to use. Now they are a lot smaller than the old speakers with more and better sound. And for the price, it is a real steal.
