Guild D-260CE Deluxe Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar

This dreadnought's Sitka spruce top and striped ebony back and sides make for a booming voice. Play in high registers thanks to the body's cutaway.

Well built. Very playable board. Great mids. Just enough boom for lows. Slightly warm and mellow tone. Nice size, not overly big. Decent sized guitar, but comfortable to hold. Amazing sound! Good value. Beautifull to look at. More yellow than photo. I was pleased it wasn't so light.. very classic vibe to it. And, great neck, middle of the road C shape. Stock strings are fabulous. 12-53. I could see going a little lighter for easier bends if needed. If you are graduating up and don't want to break the bank, then this is a wonderful choice. Sound is great, it has body to it. More of a full sound, so you know you are playing quality. I like to play classic rock type songs acoustically and it fits perfectly. Guild guitars don't get enough mention. They are in that Martin, Gibson, Taylor class. You can hear and feel the quality.
