"The Gibson Voodoo SG: The Epitome of Awesome in Electric Guitars"
I recieved my Voodoo SG as a Chirstmas gift from my parents, and I love it. It's my first Gibson guitar, and now I know why they're so popular. If anyone ever stole it, I'd hunt them down and brutally kill them to get it back. If you want to seriously start to rock, then this is the perfect guitar for you.
Sound
The sound on this guitar is absolutely incredible. The tone of the sound really matches the "Voodoo" name. They really are right when they say the Voodoo SG has a "mojo" sound. I use a Marshall MG100 DFX amplifier, which gives you great sound quality out of this guitar.
Features
Well, there are no accessories that have anything to do with the sound of the guitar itself. Of course, the guitar has the basic volume and tone control knobs, but all guitars have those. But I love the hardshell case that it comes with. The snakeskin on the case is badass, and the black plush interior is both cool looking and protective to the guitar. There's even a little storage area in the case where you can put the extra gear for your guitar, like the strap and the pick.
Quality
The juju finish on the guitar is very awesome looking, and definitely fits the name and sound of the guitar. This guitar is also very durable. I've dropped it about three times, and there was no damage done. The only thing wrong with mine is that one of the tone control knobs broke off, but that's no big deal, because I can just put it back on anyway.
Value
This guitar is definitely worth its price.

"Gibson SG Voodoo, Joshes take on it :)"
This axe will be my main axe for, probably, years to come. Im very satasfied with it and would recommend it to anyone who wants a quality and bad ass guitar that wont break the bank.
Sound
I love the sound of the sg voodoo. It sounds great in the studio (I have a Korg D1600) as well as live. For the price, you cant go wrong with this axe!
Quality
I jam hard on my SG, and I am yet to find a loose volume/tone knob. The 3 way pickup switch is solid quality as well. The finish is very nice as new as well and its just an overall durable quality instrument.
Value
I think the guitar is money well spent, a durable, reliable, fun guitar.
Manufacturer Support
I have not had to talk with Gibson as of yet.. and it appears I may never have to.
The Wow Factor
Looks sweet, sounds ripping.
Musical Style:
Anything that rocks. Punk and Metal would be the favorites with blues right behind.
