The good, I love the guitar :it has great looks and sounds fantastic. The bad: sealed from Gibson as it was delivered I was very surprised, it had no setup at all and the Gibson checklist was never filled out since no one at Gibson did a checklist or setup. The bridge was screwed into the body a little more than one turn so the string were over a quarter of an inch above the fret board more than a slide player would need. I did a complete setup and the guitar plays and sounds great. But where did quality control go. I should have sent it back but I love P-90s so I spent some time doing a complete setup and hoped for the best. Now I have a great SG. In the past I have returned 3 Gibson SGs back to the venders due to broken or other trust rod problems. Great guitars but beware and look them over carefully.
