I expect to be satisfied for as long as I have the guitar...
Sound
This SG sounds remarkable... a great ringing tone that is hard to describe; you'll just have to get one and hear for yourself... I played it thru mostly tube amps; a Marshall MA50C... it rocked! thru a Vox AC15C1... it rocked! and thru an Enganter Rebel 30 head, thru a 212 cab with celestion heritage and classic 30's... it rocked!
Features
features? it's a limited run 50th anniversary Gibson SG...fer gawd sake. The guitar was setup nearly perfect right out of the box... only a few minor intonation tweaks and that's it... action was already nice and low, neck was straight as all gettup.... finish was flawless, electronics were fine,...and I dig the 50th anniversary decal on the headstock. BUT...what REALLY sold me, was the 24 frets!!! i have an old Gibson L6 with 24 frets...so nice to have another guitar in the collection with 24 frets...can't beat the 2 octave range :)
Ease of Use
plug it in a play the guitar.... could not be easier...
Quality
quality is awesome...a true Gibson SG...and a special one, at that... no complaints
Value
GREAT VALUE! for just 190 or so more than a regular STANDARD SG, you can get this 24-fret limited run one! no brainer!
Manufacturer Support
have not used it, but I would imagine it is awesome.

this is a guitar i will keep for ever. i buy myself a new guitar for my birthday every year so i will be looking for something new next year, but just because, not for need.
Sound
for me the classic 57 pickups are the perfect sound. all the crunch in the world and a sweet clean when i want it.
Features
hey it an SG, pickup selector, 2 volume 2 tone. the 24 frets looks nice but i never go up that high on the neck so for me it's a cosmetic feature.
Quality
no set up necessary, tuned it and played right out of the box. neck and frets as smooth as silk.
Value
this was 200 more than the SG STANDARD. for the me the 57 pickups alone was worth that but also got the 24 fret neck and 50 year logo.
The Wow Factor
black and chrome, classic SG styling made me want it, the 50th year anniversary made me want it RIGHT NOW!

"One of the Best guitars I have ever owned."
I recently started playing again after a 14 year hiatus. I have many guitars and many amps but decided to check out an SG to maybe inspire me to play again. I was either going to play again or sell everything. I got rid of my 71 LP Custom a while back because of the weight and never replaced it with anything. I chose the 50th Anniversary SG because of the 24 frets, the weight, and the PAF pickups. I couldn't be happier! This guitar has inspired me to play again and is outright fun to play. The sound is that awesome Gibson sound! I have quite a few guitars with my Strats being my favorite till now. I cant say enough about this guitar! Definitely one of the best I have ever owned. Wish I had gotten an SG way back!!
Sound
Classic Gibson sound.
Features
Don't care for the tuners, not smooth turning and cheap looking but functional and it stays in tune.
Ease of Use
Great sound through a Traynor Mark lV amp with a Mesa Boogie V-Twin or Tube Screamer and Digitech Reverb. Has a great blues sound through a Fultone Full drive 2. I haven't played it through my Fender amps because I like that Marshall sound from the Traynor.
Quality
Hand wired!! No BS printed circuit board. Prefer Sperzel locking tuners but the guitar stays in tune so they are working ok. Nice black finish
Value
I think it might be a little expensive compared to other SG's, other than customs, but was not a bad price with the 50th gimmick.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't needed them.
Musical Background:
played for 16 years...quit....just started again. guitar. jam for now.

Sound
As a novice guitar player (less than one year), I really purchased the SG 50th anniversary as a potential collectable as well as an instrument to enjoy over the years. I was very happy with the service I received from ZZounds, great job!
The guitar itself is beautiful and has great action. The humbucker pick-ups sound great! I find it a bit more diffuclt to play then my strat, but thats more due to my inexperience than anything. It took me a while to find the right sound combination on my amp, but now that I have it dialed in, I cant put it down! Great guitar and great shopping experience with ZZOUNDS!
Features
A nice added feature was the hardshell case.
