I just recently purchased the Gibson Les Paul Studio Double. I can’t say enough good things about this guitar at this price point. The guitar plays and sounds great out the box. Nice mid and high tones. The bound fret board feels nice. The fit and finish are excellent. The soft case is worth mentioning. It’s a nice durable quality case. USA made Gibson that brings it to the table.

"Amazing Guitar! Gibson LP Studio Cherry Sunburst"
I recently purchased this amazing guitar and absolutely love it! It’s striking Gibson Les Paul look is fully complimented by the incredible sound, feel, and playability. Straight out of the box with no adjustments, it played and sounded great. This guitar plays and sounds as awesome as my Standards. Gibson did a great job with this one combining high quality with an affordable price. I highly recommend this one. The Les Paul is a perfect guitar for any skill level. With this one being lighter than the Standard, lengthy sessions are no issue. Love this guitar!

Absolute Killer guitar for the money. Sounds fantastic and you get alot of "Standard" appointments at the Studio price level. This was also the very first Gibson I've ever bought that was perfect out of the box. NO QC ISSUES!!!HOORAY!!!! It's a boat Anchor but it plays and sounds like a dream. The fret board is gorgeous with dark red and chocolate streaks. Top even has a little bit of movement for a plain top. Fit and finish is perfect(Hooray!) and it is a beauty. Push pull pots are solid and I love coil taps as much as splits so you can get lots of dirty fuzzy tones. Poker chip is included and when you compare this to the standard at $2800 this is a no brainer. Gig bag is top notch, they don't get any better. If your looking for a killer LP this is a really good candidate for the price. When Epiphones are creeping up to this level of price it really is a easy decision.
