"60s Gibson Les Paul Standard"
I picked one for excellent price from my younger person who got it gifted to him but he wanted an SG. I've always been a fan of the slimmer taper neck of the Les Paul's like the es 335 60 model. The rhythms got that Les Paul sound especially in the higher register, treble pickup is very biting and aggressive. Overall a great instrument proud to ha own one. 5star.

Lives up to the hype!!! Beautiful slim neck plays like a dream. The tones that come out of this thing into my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe IV make me want to just keep playing for hours upon hours...I was worried about the weight so I picked the lightest one they had 8lbs 13oz and it's not bad at all. Was a little surprised that it didn't come with the optional pick guard, which I had to buy separately, but at least zZounds had the official Gibson one with separate bracket both in stock. Now Ive Got to find an authorized Gibson service center to install it so I don't void my warranty. Could have just as easily been a choice at ordering time; installed or not? I love the look of the pick guard and it's the only reason im not giving 5 stars. When I bought my 1966 Fender Jazz Bass it came with the ashtray cover and pickup cover, but also no choice of whether I wanted it installed or not. Who wants to go looking for a luthier to drill into your new binding to attach the pickguard bracket? It's surely not something I want my local Guitar Center dude doing. Anyway the Honeyburst finish is mesmerizing everytime I look at it... just beautiful.

I fell in love with the color and had the chance to purchase this and was happy for the chance to get it.Upon unboxing I was definitely wowed and completely happy.Once I seen it it the light the issue appeared. This should of been sold as blemished instead of new.The heavy handed scratches and dips were and are totally disappointing in a guitar valued at 3k.It would be understandable if it were a blemished purchased but for brand limited run it is quite disappointing.
