I ordered my Gibson Les Paul Standard 60s in translucent oxblood on October 30th 2024. zZounds overnighted it for me and I received it today!Right out of the box this thing was a great player Almost plays itself. The neck profile is awesome, really slim & fast.No fret buzzing and intonation is spot on.Fit and finish was perfect I have yet to find one flaw anywhere. It's absolutely beautiful!!And you can see through the finish to see the flamed maple under it.It's the guitar that I've been searching for for years! THE ONE! I love it!!The 60s burstbuckers sound fantastic too!The case is really nice also. And zZounds made it so easy for me!I've been dealing with them for several years now and never had an issue with them!Customer service is A-1If you're thinking about buying this guitar, do yourself a favor and do it now! You'll regret it if you don't!

This is no way I could be any happier with a guitar. I’ve been down on Gibson’s for a while and sold the ones I had. Starting in the mid 2000’s, their quality started to decline. I have recently started buying the Epiphone Inspired By Gibson/Custom shop. I bought the ‘59 Les Paul, Firebird and the Custom Shop Inspired 61 SG. All very good guitars. For some reason I decided to take a chance and go for another one. This guitar is flawless. The neck and frets are perfect too. The intonation was perfect. The slim 60’s neck is amazing. I cannot find one small issue with it. The pickups sound fantastic. It plays as great as it sounds. I was stunned. I love that it doesn’t have the stupid push/pull pots that don’t do what they’re supposed to do. My advice to anyone who is considering this guitar is to take a chance and buy it. There is no downside except it being a little pricey. It is not inexpensive at all. I got in on the 18 month financing when it was offered. I just can’t rave enough about this instrument. I’m 65 years old and have been playing since around 12. I’ve owned other Gibsons, lots of Fender, PRS, Reverend, G&L and on and on. I don’t think anyone could be unhappy with this guitar.
