I just received my 2014 Gibson quilt top Les Paul Standard via Fed Ex, and it was delivered in perfect condition, in tune, and played beautiful. I never bought a guitar on line before, and always played them at several stores before buying one. I took a leap of faith in purchasing this guitar on line with out playing it, and glad I did. The guitar finish, is a spectacular Ocean Blue Maple Quilt Top, and is phenomenal to look at. It is truly a work of art. The Gibson Les Paul Standard is second to none in detail and in sound, and playability. Crisp clean tones and sustainability of notes. The action and set up is perfect so no adjusting on my part.
