I plan to have it for the rest of my life ,if it got lost or stole from me it would have to be replaced, with another menace
Sound
I had a 70's gibson RD,that got lost several years ago, have been looking for some thing that sounds somewhat like it,I think the menace comes close.
Features
had to get a hard case,to put it in, every gibson should have a hard case,
Ease of Use
it is not hard getting the sound that I want.I plug straight into my amp,Marshall Valvestate 2000,screams
Quality
the quality of mine is very good for what it is,Not used to such a light guitar,Iam not worried about any thing breaking, other than strings LOL,will be installing strap locks, will not be wearing a belt buckle while playing, It is a beautifull guitar and it will stay that way,if I go on the road it will go with me,it will be my maine guitar
Value
this guitar is well worth what I paid for it,I am a gibson man, gibson fan
Manufacturer Support
have delt with them years ago turned out ok as I recall.
The Wow Factor
I had my choise of several diferent Les Pauls from studio, custome,I did buy the menace I like the looks, the sound is better, than some others that I've played, every one that see's it can't stop looking at it and they want to touch it,kinda like what they do around Harley's,

"Menace to Reality(quite rude as the Zildjians may say)"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I own four guitars now and have own more than a baker's dozen, And I don't think that this 25% of my instuments will ever be replaced, if anything it will replace the rest of my band, in context, and maybe even my own self if I'm not careful with its yeildings(speaking of my hearing, if you don't catch the drift).
Sound
This guitar is overpowering in its stature, the sound can melt its way through any mix. I also own a ESP Viper and that in comparison is very baritone. Also with the menace (a great name for it) the control from treble to bass is amazing, i mean not as amazing as a Jimmy Page les paul with all its tonal character cause by push pull pots, but still along the lines of a dreamscape with young Jimi.
Features
The fact that their is no fretmarkers is a downside to the string bendibility on this guitar fretboard, but with a set of Gibson 10 bright wires and a very lean helping of "elbow grease(and maybe sweat)" you seem to be immersed in the application of sweet sustain and somewhere along the lines of equal temperment.
Ease of Use
Well if you were to rate it on a 1 to 10 scale, you might just end up giving up on writing about it, and turn on the amplifier. I mean i have to limit the volume because i get my neighbors mad with fear that the sixties are coming back. Do you know what its like to not want to stop playing just because you think you might not make history from the ground up. Well then maybe you should be writing about your guitar as well cause I think that everyone should take about their own ventures in music at least a little.
Quality
I'm more worried about my Fender Metalhead giving away to stress caused by its massive output than it failing on its quality level, but as mensioned before the lack of fret markers makes it a little harder on the bend side, but power to its ability to last longer than.
Value
Great value only comes at this price when the guitar factories are doing their god-given job right, as GIBSON has for over 5 decades. Power to all that own the legend!
Manufacturer Support
Actually ended up buying two when it first came out but quite at a accident, due to my father and I both thinking it would be a great present. Now I only own the one, but still love it non the less.
The Wow Factor
Well, i'd have to admit if power is sexy than sheer power may overpower the one(or many) women that come it contact with this guitar,or its owner.

"Fair price for a fairly good product!"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars

I think I will keep this guitar until I will buy a Gibson Classic or, possibly, a PRS.
Sound
Dark and strong sound, especially from neck pickup. I am using neck pickup alomost exclusively while playing.
Features
Not much accessories came with it (I am comparing to Ibanez Artcore guitar , which had all necessary keys and even a spare bridge and manual), but the hard case is very good!
Ease of Use
First I did not like the neck - seemed a bit dry to me, but now it seems to be fine, I guess - just got used to it. Otherwise I like everyuthing about this instrument - it is not as heavy as classig LPs and performs very well to my taste and skills.
Quality
Well.. quality could possibly be better for a premium brand, but, again - no major complaints. Tightened a couple of nuts, no other adjustments needed - I've been excersising with guitar right out of the box. I think (just think) it came with cheap strings, but did not change strings yet - they seem to be in good shape.
Value
I think, for a Gibson this guitar has a fair price (I paid EUR 1,100). Possibly an ESP or Ibanez might be a better deal, but go find out yourself..
Manufacturer Support
No idea - did not call Gibson, as there are no troubles.
The Wow Factor
It looks cool (especially on photos). When you get actual thing it is not THAT exciting, but still 'got the look'. Maybe removing fist logo on 5th fret and replacing it with a 'heart' logo will make this instrument look better.
