Gibson 2015 ES Les Paul Electric Guitar (with Case)

Worlds collide with this Les Paul and ES-335 combo from Gibson. Semi-hollow construction paired with PAF-style humbuckers makes for harmonically rich tone.

I didn't buy mine from zZounds, but picked it up locally in Chicago. Hands down, this guitar is wonderful. The neck is round and feels full. Not too big, not too small, just right. The pickups sound impeccable. There's a special warmth and clarity that I've only heard before on $8,000 custom shop Les Pauls. It's the real deal for PAF style humbuckers. Much nicer than any production pickups (classic 57, burstbucker). The looks are to die for. The VOS finish has just the right amount of gloss. It shines, but isn't a mirror like some cheaper gloss guitars. The binding on the guitar is gorgeous, and the gold top is classic. The coolest part of this guitar in terms of looks is the brown,"walnutesque" back. The wood grain is gorgeous. This feels and resonates like a solid handmade instrument. It doesn't feel like a cheap production model Gibson. No corners were cut on the quality of this guitar. It's awesome. Its a keeper.
