The guitar is amazing, the fretboard and neck feel great, the Thrash Factor screams and will push a tube amp to break up a bit more, almost sounds like a mild fuzz or some extra overdrive if you really dig in. The finish is absolutely breathtaking, not a single issue on the finish, inlays, wiring. It really feels like an American made icon. The only issue is one of the frets is slightly lifted, causing some pretty severe buzz on a very common, major note. zZounds has offered me only $100 back on a broken $3000 guitar, I'm not terribly happy about that, but I am trying to get in touch with Gibson about having it repaired, if they'd ever get back to me.

My friend got one of these brand new because he is a die hard Gibson fan brand new for the money that thing should be flawless not have to be set up by a guitar tech you shouod not have to pay additional 100 for it to play the way you want it second issue the paint had blemishes on it scraches in a few spots and the neck is horrible like every other Gibson I have seen or tried maybe back in the 40s amd 50s Gibson was a good brand but these days is straight trash and I stand by with what I said .with that being said jackson b.c.rich esp dean are far better guitars then anything Gibson has to offer when you buy a Gibson you are not buying quality craftsmanship you are paying for the name an honest review from a guy who has been playing guitar for 25 plus years
