Gibson 2018 Limited Edition RD Artist 40th Anniversary Electric Guitar (with Case)

A favorite on the vintage market, the RD provides radical looks and tone. This 2018 model does not disappoint, with GEM active pickups and gold hardware.

It's not the cheapest GIBSON you can buy, but it does play incredibly well and it sounds excellent. I won't make this a long review. It's reayly is an exceptional guitar. Gibson doesn't make this style often, so be sure to pick it up!

I had a 1974 RD Standard TS & I bought it from a friend after I got out of the Army in 1979. It was a factory second, it had a flaw in the finish on the back but so small you had to hunt for it but enough to rate it a second. He was the second owner, he bought it from a friend that designed cases for Gibson. They sent him this second to design a case around, kept the Guitar & case then sent blue prints to Gibson. My nephew stole it out of the case when it was stored at my brothers. I still have the case at my brothers house but only holds an air guitar now. This is not a 1974 but I love it & happy to strap one on after 30 t years. Still has that Awesome Sustain that Jimmy Page loved.
