I would highly recommend this guitar to a fellow guitarist of somewhat versatile genres. It sounds just as beautiful with harder rock as it does with clean blues. I, personally, fell in love with the finish right off at the bat and just felt like I had to have it. Just got it in today and after playing with it, I would say the tone is top notch and its very comfortable to play (probably more standing than sitting, however). The only bad point I could pick out is the problem with staying in tune at times with the tremolo. But that's sort of expected. The style of the tuning keys I found really neat as well and adds to the slick look of it. But overall, I would say this is a great guitar to add to the collection and I plan on it becoming my primary choice for a long while.

I just I just received this guitar last night, I own a 2004 Gibson Lee Paul Standard, 2006 Gibson Firebird VII (heavily modified) and a 2014 Gretsch Billy Bo. Usually I'm dissatisfied with a guitar straight out of the box they always seem to need a good setup or different potentiometers etc. This guitar sounds very similar to the Les Paul with that classic PAF honk but with the playability of a Firebird. Action and intonation were the best I've ever seen of a new guitar, and I'm very impressed with no loss of treble when you dial back the volume, something that I'm very picky about. My only complaint is the middle pickup, it really doesn't do much when you mix it in. its not a drastic change like the 2 & 4 position on a Stratocaster.
