I've tried many, many brands to get a balanced sound out of my Martin JC-16RE and these strings (in the .011 gauge) seem to be the only ones to do the job. Great balance between playability and timbre with lows being distinct but not boomy, and highs being present but not shrill. Where they really shine is when the guitar is amplified. Very balanced. Give them a try. I think their quality will surprise you!
