First off, these things are AWESOME! I ordered 3 with my new Ludwig kit as well as a few Gibraltar 5709 boom stands, and I couldn't be happier with the look, functionality and value of everything put together. These booms can really help you achieve what you have drawn up in your head! Incredibly easy to mount a 10" splash, 12" china and 18" china EXACTLY where I needed them, and everything looks symmetrical and well thought out. This hardware is strong...you get good WEIGHT for your MONEY! I happily use Gibraltar hardware for all my stands and add-on booms because the quality and weight is great, and the price is FAIR. I would definitely recommend these to family and friends!
