I purchased this to haul my Yamaha Stagepass 600 around to my unplugged shows. I like the concept of this unit but there are some problems with it and it had to be modified in order for me to use it to my benefit.
Sound
Sounds good on paper but in reality has some problems.
Features
two of the best features, the collapsable handle and the castors actually end up being the worse part of this unit. The construction was exactly as I thought it would be which is great with me. The plywood interior is more than strong enough yet light enough that it really does not add that much weight when it's loaded.
Ease of Use
The handle and castors are much like an piece of roll-away luggage, which is kool but the problem is the castors only roll one way and that is with the unit going forward "width" wise. This makes it hard to go through doors and hard to store unless you can store it face in. And this caused the second problem. If you cannot store or move it face in then you have to use the handles on the sides to pick up the unit to store it lengthwise. The handles are a bolt on strap type which normally would be great however mine are so short that when you pick it up then the upper corner of the unit crushes your fingers, which quite frankly pisses me off to have anything crush my fingers. I removed the forward only castors and replaced them with good quality rubber swivel castors, with two of them locking. This works well with this unit however now the collapsable handle is really only goo to extend and strap something to it as you roll it around. I have not addressed the strap side handles as of yet but you can bet i will as this unit is worth in to me to carry my Stagepass to my gigs.
Quality
this unit seems to be made very well. I have no complaints of the quality of this products only in the design area.
Value
I think for the price and what you get this is a great value for the money especially if you are a working dog like me. However If this is the way the all are be prepared to consider modifying yours so you can use it better.
Manufacturer Support
I have not called for support as of yet but I am considering doing so once I solve the handle issue so that I can explain what is not working right with this unit.
The Wow Factor
I love the over all protection but most of the WOW factor was lost for me when I had to modify it in order to use it.

1st review hit problems right on the nose. Another problem, at least for me, I have an older Passport 500 which is 4 inches wider than the new ones. No way it fits in this case.
