I bought the GK 500 Legacy to replace my old 1994 GK 800RB which I still own and love but as a gigging bass player I needed something that had a few more options and was newer, not quite so USED. The GK 500 Legacy does all that and more, carrying the same tone and growl as the 800RB, but has a mute switch (possibly the most used) the boost channel activated with drive, which really adds a classic, darker tone and then bump, contour and presence which really gives the amp a huge range of tonal possibilities. It's been a work horse since I got it and I couldn't be happier with my purchase from zZounds and GK. They've kept me playing live music since 2013.
