Updating my review because it was unfair and confused. I was frustrated trying to accomplish a certain procedure that had nothing to do with this product. It was garageband that was giving me headaches not the Focusrite 2i2 and it is garageband that has crappy effects not the 2i2. I got angry and frustrated and then went straight to my computer to take it out on the wrong product...sorry. The 2i2 is a good product and worth the money.
