EQs are basically unusable. But a couple of the compressors/limiters are very good. I love the Distressor models...especialy on vocals... very forgiving. This alone is worth the price of this little unit.

I rated 5 because I only use half the unit's feature since to me the EQ section is useless.

Easy enough, use the mouse or the controls on the unit itself, If you know about EQ and Compression it is pretty much self explanatory. I deducted points because you will not be able to track in a low latency mode if this is in use on the session at all. I only use it for mixing.

Seems ok. I do not travel with it , it basically never moves from it's spot on my desk.

for less than the cost a plugin, you get usable to great compression with the added bonus of a custom control surface. It's a no-brainer to me...

looks good, lots of little leds and clients love little leds... as a sound guy, it is a great tool. so both ear and eye candy.
