These headphones took some getting used to they are unforgiving like Clint Eastwood. If your music doesn’t sound good in these then it doesn’t sound good period. It was a humbling experience my first few mixes. But the first mix that I was ever told sounded like a pro mix was with these headphones. They sound very open at moderate volumes but if you crank them while mixing you will notice they are closed back. If you are a beginner or intermediate mixer these headphones might be hard to work with but if you learn them you will improve your mixes because if your material sounds good in these it will sound good on other play back systems. You will have to learn gain staging with these because these things have a lot of thump in the low end but if the drivers are hitting hard you’re coming in to hot, this is true of the frequency spectrum. I’m still figuring them out but I’m confident that once my mixes improve in these I have become a better mixing engineer. I would recommend these if you want an accurate representation of what ever you are listening to these do just that. When you listen on different systems you will hear what you heard in these for better or for worse

I engineer my own work and these have been amazing for tracking vocals as well as for some mixing. There isn't a whole lot on the internet about them bc they came out somewhat recently and so they have gone under the rader at this price range but do not pass up on these, trust me. My other pair are Clear Pro MGs and these feel like your getting a little over half of the experience you would get with those but only if you're opting to run it through a headphone amp. These also dont leak audio all that much, but they definitely arent as insolating as my ATH M50xs are. I have a very sensitive cardiod mic and it doesn't pick up a lot of the audio leakage from these headphones even at max volume, so it's not an issue for me. As far as sound goes, the highs don't sound harsh and the bass is forward but not overwhelming. Overall sounds balanced and exactly what you would want if you were looking for a closed back headphone that gives you a similar experience to an open back. Would recommend.
