I took a gamble by ordering this one online without first playing, but it paid off in every way. If I had to make a list of everything I wanted in an amp, it would all point to the Tone Master Deluxe. With the power-scaling I can use it at home and be able to get the amp humming with overdrive. You back off on the guitar's volume and the amp cleans up nicely. It weighs 23lbs, with is roughly half of any other amp I own. It sounds big and full. The build quality is what we all remember a Deluxe Reverb to be. Wonderful birch ply for a solid build. I have yet to use the DI but I suspect that since you can pick the IR mic between an SM57 or an R121 Royer, it will sound great. It will do silent recording by engaging the standby switch. There isn't a negative aspect to this amp. Thank you Fender and thank you Zzounds for a great payment plan.

I was looking for an amp that weighed less than my deluxe reverb reissue but with similar sound. This amp is it. It sounds just like the drri at half the heft. Built solidly and sounds great. It is as good as the all tube version and has extra features. Buy one.

Rock, blues, country

I bought one of these used. I was looking for a light weight amp with good sound and this was recommended to me by some other musicians. I have to say I am very impressed and happy with this amp. I would recommend buying this. I later put a Neo-Creamback speaker in it to check out the sound difference. So right now I have decided to go with the Creamback. Also I would recommend installing the 'Bright Cap" firmware update. The update really sounds great.

Middle of the road rock. Right now on a Rockabilly gig.
