I got the Fender SFX as a factory resealed. I can find nothing wrong in anyway. The amp is very nice. Not too heavy, or too large to pack around easily. It fills the rooms I play with clear sound quite well. The onboard effects are nice but take some fiddling to get that “perfect sound”. Plenty loud for smallish pubs or coffee house gigs. Looks to be very solidly built. The rubber base is nice. I’d prefer the inputs on the front but not a deal breaker. Great buy at the price. zZ is always good to work with. FedEx muffed the shipping but zZounds made it right.

Musical Background:

Several decades of gigs and annoying the neighbors.

Musical Style:

Rock, Folk, and some Country. Lots of blues.

The SFX is a great solution if you need and acoustic amp for gigging smaller rooms. Very easy to transport and get set up. It sounds very natural after a bit of turning knobs. The onboard effects are ok and easy to use and adjust to your sound.....don’t sell your pedals though. I got a factory reasealed unit...no problems or defects I can find. Not too heavy to carry and built very well, it should last a long time. The SFX expansion is a nice addition and creates a nice room filling effect. I have not had to call but Fender support has always been good for me.

Musical Background:

Three plus decades of fun and gigs.

Musical Style:

A bit of everything.
