Sound
I really enjoy the tone of Fender's Jazz Basses and this doesn't dissapoint. Huge amount of control over the instrument's sound.
Features
Drop D lever - beautiful. Active/passive modes also great.
The Wow Factor
I really wanted a bass in that lovely Fender ice white/baby blue color, but this is a beautiful instrument in the sunburst/tortoise shell.

Reggie Hamilton Jazz Bass Customer Review

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I'm not parting with this instrument anytime soon. Granted, I can't afford my text books, but I think it's a fair trade.
Sound
Beautiful sound. My first bass was a Kent (which I thankfully did not own) and this instrument showed me what a real bass actually sounds like.
Features
Drop D is awesome (though I can't say I use it too much, sadly). Active/Passive pickups are also pretty sweet - you can pump that much more sound out of the bass. Big fan of the Treble/Mid/Bass knobs as well.
Ease of Use
I keep forgetting which knob is which however...Everything else is pretty straight forward.
Quality
Very well made. Unfortunately, it's a Mexi, but everyone who sees and hears it assumes it's an American.
Value
Very well priced, I'd say. Don't see myself needing a new bass for a very long time.
Manufacturer Support
Never needed support...guess that's a good thing.
The Wow Factor
Sexy 60s Sunburst/Tortoise Shell, the standard Fender bass look but with the P-Bass and Jazz Bass noiseless pickups, people look twice to figure out what exactly you have.
