I must say, for the money you can't beat this guitar. My buddy plays a $1,600+ Taylor guitar and often compliments my guitar, whether it's plugged or unplugged!

Fender CD-140SCE Acoustic Customer Review

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars

Sound
Sounds great plugged or unplugged, but is the biggest standout when unplugged. It has a lovely warm tone.
Features
You have good control over the plugged sound with the three EQs (low, mid, high) and the tuner is easy to use.
Ease of Use
Action could be just a fraction lower in my opinion, but it's good enough and of all the guitars I tried in the guitar shops before buying this one, I got the least amount of string buzzing on frets with this one.
Quality
The satin finish on the top is very attractive and the mahogony looks really good too. Although this guitar is said to have a gloss finish everywhere other than the top, mine looks like a satin finish all over, which I prefer to the high gloss. The whole guitar is nice and slippery to the touch.
Value
Since I got the 2011 model for $400 Australian Dollars (RRP $599), I am extremely happy with the value-for-money. It's worth the full RRP as far as I'm concerned.
Manufacturer Support
Hard to judge just yet, as I've only had one email exchange with Fender Australia, but the reply was prompt and enthusiastic in tone.
