Just got the Olympic White Fender Standard Stratocaster today. I really like it. I had an American Elite Stratocaster a few years back, and while that was an extremely good guitar, the Standard is still a fundamentally solid guitar. For the price, I think it's worth every penny. I would definitely recommend this guitar if you're looking for a Fender but don't have the $800+ for a Player I Series. At the end of the day, a Fender is a Fender, and they make great guitars.

This is an excellent guitar. Pickups are punchy and deeper than I would have thought, they do not sound like ceramics of the past! I was surprised that they're not noisy at all even at high volumes. The setup wasn't bad at all once the guitar warmed up and took some humidity. I get compliments on the sound and the color! After playing many Squires, this guitar earned the Fender badge regardless of where it is made. Best value around.

Excellent guitar for $600. Fender did well with this. Fabulous Strat. for a beginner. Recommended. Own Olympic White finish. So I wanted the Candy Cola finish. Bought that one. Waiting for delivery.

I ordered this thinking I was going to get a decent fender Stratocaster and ended up with a four-piece poplar body that's cleared together which I don't really care about but it'd be nice for that to be stated and the cheapest electronics possible. The pickups do not sound very great. They seem to be very low output and as far as the tremolo system good luck with that because unless you lock the bridge down using the fourth spring and tightening up the springs you will not be able to get this thing in tune and once you have the satellite down you stay in tune fairly well but you still go out a lot so I would not recommend this guitar for the price. Maybe if this was a $400 guitar then I would say okay cuz you could probably get it for $350 but definitely not for over $600.
Sound
All my other guitars are humbuckers so nothing to directly compare it to but I was expecting the single coils to be a little bit brighter and not so low output as they are because you can't even get pinch harmonics out of this thing
Features
I feel that for the price tag they could have put better pickups in it and also paid more attention to the tremolo system they were using because this thing blows balls
Ease of Use
As long as you can keep it in tune it sounds okay but not what I was expected
Quality
I honestly don't know whether having a four-piece glued together body or a single piece of wood would make it much of a difference but in my head I want a solid piece of wood out of a guitar not something glued together you know
Value
No way in any country is this guitar worth the price that they're charging
Manufacturer Support
I didn't have to deal with fender because I called sounds and they started a return on it immediately with nothing out of pocket coming from me.
The Wow Factor
I love the way that the guitar looks with the maple board the black inlay dots the Olympic white with the arctic white pickguard it just looks really good but looks are pretty much nothing when it comes to a guitar
