This bass is a miracle of music. Why do I say that? Because it empowers you to show off your talent with the best tone you can possibly get from a bass. Because you very well know, it does not matter how talented you are if your tone sucks, no one will take your playing seriously. Most people would say that a better guitar won't make you a better player, but I say that a nicer guitar can inspire you to be a better player. This Fender Elite Jazz bass is probably one of the best basses out there, although the exposed truss nut at the bottom of the neck is kind of gimmicky. The tone you get out of this monster is pure Fender Jazz bass, with or without the preamp engaged. It is light weight and the neck is extremely comfortable. The bass feels very solid and the electronics and pickups are top of the line. The level of detail on this bass is extremely high end.I would not trade my Fender Elite Jazz bass for anything. I highly recommend it.
