This thing impressed from the first touch. It is beautifully crafted. There is a significantly noticeable difference in the quality of this instrument vs. a professional version. The neck is think and solid. It feels very comfortable and is fast playing. The grain of the maple selected for the neck on these is outstanding. The pictures do not do the neck justice. The headstock is quite a bit darker than the fingerboard which gives it a great contrast. I'm not sure I need any other bass!

I bought my 1st Jazz Bass in 1976, it was a 1974 Fender Jazz from Grinnell Brother's Music store here in Detroit, I Had to get this one because it Looks Identical to my 1st, "which I STILL Have btw", and it Almost Sounds the Same, Great Quality and same Thick maple neck which I Need due to Very Long fingers. I got this one because I'm Retiring my Number One.
