This is a great modern Strat. I love the extra option to add the neck pickup to positions 1 and 2 with the push pot on the second tone control. The neck shape is very comfortable and the fretwork is on par with my Core and S2 PRS guitars. The nut is cut well, and out of the box the guitar is pretty well set up, though I had to make small adjustments for heavier strings. The pots are all smooth and free of any crackling that would indicate loose solder joints. If I had to nitpick anything, I'd have preferred a darker fretboard, but all in all, it's a solid do-anything guitar that's definitely a step up from the Player II and American Performer series guitars.

Fretboard could have been a little cleaner of a job, if I had to have an issue. Overall, very impressed still. Sounds spectacular :)
