"Nicely done Fender!"

I can't let that one review with bad experience determine rating of this very nice Fender Deluxe Stratocaster with futuristic capabilities. After good setup everything is perfect. Two noiseless Vintage pickups and good humbucker - versatile . I just sold my Fender Deluxe Stratocaster USA, 1993, so I have to compare with something. I love vintage Headstock. Sound - even if there is no Tone pot, no worries, it's precise, Just with switch you can dial what you need, but you can tweek on Amp everything. I'm happy with purchase, good value for the money. To mention great software. For studio, home studio environment - great!!!

Pretty pleased with this purchase. The tripleplay tracks very well overall though it occasionally can get kinda lost and slow. Power off and on will fix those rare moments. I like this built-in version of the fishman because I hate the cyborg wart look of the other version. This one is totally integrated into the guitar and most people will have no idea how you are triggering synth sounds. I had to make some bridge adjustments to get the action and the intonation where I wanted but you should generally get a professional guitar "setup" anyway when you buy a new axe. I am used to a locking floyd trem, and I have a few concerns about tuning stability when doing power dives with the fender trem and even just some note bends with fingering. I will be installing the higher grade Fender Locking tuners (standard on the AM DLX, but sadly not part of this model) this weekend and hope this will help keep things stable. This is a $50 upgrade, but if it does the trick it will be well worth it. The Tracking of the triple play (it's really quite good) and the WIRELESS Synth control aspect. (you still need a regular cable for guitar into amp), make this thing a great investment for anyone who has a foot in both the synth and the guitar worlds.

"Pass on this guitar"

I was disappointed with the electronics of this guitar right from the get go. Bridge pickup is miss-wired and as a result is 1/2 volume of other p.u.p's. Fishman pickup had to be removed and re-installed because the top half was stuck ad i couldn't adjust the action. I took the guitar to G.C. Round Rock TX and bottom line its still not right. The good news is the neck is amazing. The sustain is on point. I haven't been able to work with the midi pickup yet. Didn't realize that this guitar has NO tone pots, only volume pots for reg p.u.and midi. The midi implementation cripples the traditional elements.

Musical Background:

Professional. i have over 100 guitars and 42 amps. played fo 40+ years.

Musical Style:

Rock, Blues, Country, R&B and Jazz.
