Full disclosure, bought this as a “blemished” guitar.Frets are comparable to my Squire Affinity, definitely rougher on the edges of the fretboard than I expect for something with the Fender name on it. The nut slid out when I first played it. Will need to glue that in apparently.Looking for something to occupy the higher end of the frequency spectrum in a 4 piece band with keys. This thing is a treble monster! Exactly what I was looking for tonally. In retrospect I probably would have gone with a Squire Classic Vibe instead given the disappointing build quality for the $$$

Musical Background:

20 year guitar player.

I bought a squier paranormal nashville deluxe strat earlier this year. Out of the box, the squier blew this guitar away. I had to do a complete set up and fret level. Luckily i do my own work, so it was cheap. When all said and done, its a a great guitar. Albiet a mexican fender, i still expected better out of the box.
