"Great for first guitar, but metal shredders or aspiring metal shredders, look elsewhere."

Since I'm only seventeen, this will be my intrument till next September when I'm going to buy a Les Paul with all my summer job money and make my dreams come true, but I'd still keep this one. If it were lost or stolen I'd try to find a bunch of money and buy a Les Paul.
Sound
The Pickup buzz is horrible. Get the noiseless ones that fender makes, I believe they are only about 45-55$. They are not, Repeat NOT good for extreme hardcore metal sounds. I used mine through the digitech death metal distortion pedal and it was just awful. Really Hard to get the Palm Mute stuff like metallica does unless you wanna buy all new pickups. I dropped in a seymour duncan hot rails pickup on the bridge because it was way too bright sounding, and it sounds awesome now.
Features
The tone knobs dont do jack squat. Don't listen to any yahoo who says they do because the are full of it. The Whammy bar works just fine, although i haven't used mine for a while because i screwed my bridge down so it would stay in tune longer, but it's fine.
Quality
This guitar is invincible. Mine has fallen off of its stand on a couple of occasions and it still works perfectly.
Value
If you have your heart absolutely set on buying a stratocaster, by all means get this one, its affordable, and with the noiseless pickups, sounds vintage and clean. If your looking for super fat tone like you hear in todays metal, go with ibanez or a les paul or sg style guitar
Manufacturer Support
I'm giving them a 10 because they have made the product so well I''ve never had to contact them.
The Wow Factor
It's a stratocaster. It's a classic. You can never go wrong with a classic that's been proven time and time again. I give it 8 because the Gibson Les Paul and Gibson SG are cooler looking and the Les Paul Black Beauty Custom is the best looking guitar in my opinion

"I LOVE IT!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
The best guitar ever, do I have to spell it out?
Sound
This guitar can wail with the best of them. I have always found the Les Paul to be too thick and gnarly. My Satin Stratocaster is on the edge of insanity. It can grind, the chunk up and become bulky and fat like a Les Paul. It's so versatile, I have played it in my dad's country band, and now I play it in a metal/hardcore technical band. I set my mids medium high and crank everything else, and the lead sound just SCREAMS!
Features
This guitar came with just the basic fender components. So simple. That's how it should be.
Quality
I have dropped this guitar off of a porch once, and all that happened was my 1st string went out of tune. The action is flawless, I didn't have to make any adjustments,it was perfect when I bought it. I had to make a slight adjustment when I had to tighten down the bridge, because anyone who plays fenders knows that the trem bridge is notorious for going out of tune.
Value
A guitar at this quality could sell for thousands.
Manufacturer Support
I have no need.
The Wow Factor
The satin strat is sexy,no doubt. Mine has a flawed finish, so it came out in more of a grape purple, and it's beautiful. When you have been playing for a long night, and there's sweat on the guitar, guess what.....The guitar is even MORE beautiful.

"Loaded with EMG's"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
im really glad i bought this and i would definatly advise people to get this
Sound
its stock sound is alright, but i bought a KH-20 EMG pickguard set and installed 2 EMG s in the neck and middle and an EMG 81 in the bridge. aswell as new electronics for it.
Features
its nice with the tremolo. i wish it had locking tuners and a floyd rose. but for $400 what more can you ask for
Ease of Use
this is really easy to use, just plug in and play
Quality
i feel it was made quite well for a mexican made strat. the finish was fantastic. i was expecting a more glossy finish then that but now i am totaly fine with it and like it more then the glossy ones. there was nothing loose on it and im really dependent on it. the only problem i had was the bridge because it started pulling up so i couldnt use the tremolo feature
Value
i dont think i could have found a better guitar at this price
Manufacturer Support
i have not had to and that is why it gets a 10. if i dont have to then its obviously a good choice
The Wow Factor
its a really sexy guitar with the satin candy apple red finish, maple fretboard, gloss black pickguard, and now with my EMG's, the flat black color of them makes it look sick!

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
The sound of a Fender is unique I own another electric with humbuckers on it and its not enough got to hear that Fender sound ...I could not live without being able to hear that sound I'll have a fender for the rest of my life.....
Sound
Clear, bright, with a lot of punch , it really kicks ass.....
Features
The color of the instrument (wine) with its black pickguard and pickups its Beautiful I say it hanging in a music and I had to have it the most unusual Fender I have ever seen.... I have owned 3 Fendeers in the past as well as an SG, Less Paul amd a PRS.... the Fender sound is something one has to have ....
Quality
Quality is fantastic the only thing I would replace is the bridge and the tuners...
Value
Very reasonable price for what you get......
The Wow Factor
Aesthetic appeal this guitar should be hung in a museum its a "work of Art"

"After 50 Years the Strat is Still the Best"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This will hold me over forever if it needs to, or until I can afford the American Strat. I would replace it in a heartbeat if it were stolen, but hope I never have to.
Sound
Unbelievably dynamic sound, can play any and all styles of music with a strat. Some frets slightly out of tune, but barly noticable. Running through Fender practice amp now, have run through friends Marshall half stack... wow!
Features
5-way switch offers limitless supply of sounds. Maple neck and alder body are excellent combination.
Quality
Finish is perfect, even after playing. Can easily gig without backup. Practically bulletproof.
Value
One of the, if not the best on the market, and within the price range of your average college student.
Manufacturer Support
No Problems.
The Wow Factor
Beautiful finish, sleek strat style, practically calls you towards it.
